3| The look
How do the tights look on you? Some prints or colours look really awesome but be honest with yourself:
→ Does it do justice to your legs?
→ Does the colour or print match your other gear?
→ Are there printed letters/logo’s/quotes on it? Then make sure they don’t crack open the very first time you move in it! I know some of them look really awesome but usually they don’t have stretch in it. So with every movement it cracks more and more and that doesn’t look awesome at all.
4 | The fabrics
It’s important that you buy tights that have good moisture management and that are breathable. This means they have to absorb sweat but not (body) heat. For example, 100% cotton tights don’t do that. Look for tights that has at least a combination of polyester, spandex and/or cotton.
5| The kids collection
I’m not kidding. Lately I discovered most kids sport collections are a perfect fit for me. And no, I’m not that small. For example: I am 1.70, 63 kilos and wear a size L/XL in most kids tights. They are a bit smaller at the waist and a little shorter (ankle length). Next to that you can save up to 50% on the adult-price.
