5 things to make with a spiralizer
I'm sure you are all aware of the huge Courgetti (spaghetti made from courgette) trend. It's the perfect low-carb dish. Next to courgetti there are a lot of other things to make with a Spiralizer. Curious? Read on!
5 things to make with a spiralizer
1. Beet noodles
We're so thankful for beets. They contain a lot of vitamins and above that they taste delicious. Research has proven that eating beets or drinking beet juice will increase your stamina. This recipe combines beet noodles with spicy chickpeas. So good! I'm so happy they're available almost everywhere during autumn and winter.
2. Broccoli noodles
What do you usually do with the stem of your broccoli? During the time I lived at my mom's house I gave them to my rabbit. I usually throw them away now, which is a total waste. They contain a lot of vitamins! Eating broccoli also has a strong positive impact on the detoxification system of your body. And creating noodles from these stems is a lot easier than it may seem at first. :)
3. Sweet potato noodles
Sweet potato noodles...doesn't that sound tasty? This dish is perfect for autumn and winter. I love the sweet taste of these potatoes. Because of this sweet taste it's perfect to combine with a spicy sauce. And I'm even more in love with this sweet potato, chicken fillet and tomato combo. YUM!
4. Rhubarb & apple noodles
You can even use your Spiralizer for breafast or dessert. Pick the best granola you can find and use that as a topping to warm apple and rhubarb noodles. It might take a while, especially when you make this for breakfast, but hey, it looks cute! Who doesn't want this?
5. Cucumber noodles
A cucumber is great for making noodles. This dish creates a healthy version of a crab salad with Greek yoghurt, crab and cucumber. You could serve this meal as a side-dish for a sushi party or even as an entrée.
