Four healthy breakfast smoothies to kickstart your day
It's smoothielicious! These healthy breakfast smoothies are quick, easy and delicious.
These healthy breakfast smoothies below are so easy to make, all you need is a blender and your ingredients. You can mix, match and experiment a lot with smoothies. I must admit, some smoothies are more tasty than others. But when you find the perfect combination, make it your signature smoothie and you can make it every week! Below are my signature smoothies, all just from trying stuff (the last one I stole from Chris :))
Green Monster Mango Smoothie
(serves 2)
A green smoothie?! Doesn't that sound like something you wouldn't voluntarily drink? Well, this spinach mango smoothie is so yummy, even my boyfriend begs me to make him one in the weekend (hence the double serving). If you want this smoothie to be less thick, add some extra almond milk.
Ingredients: Orange juice from 3 oranges, 1 ripe mango, 2 tblsp chia seeds, 100 ml almond milk and fresh spinach
PPPPower Smoothie
(serves 2)
When I bought this pineapple I stared at it for a while, when it started staring back I realized there were two things I could do; give it a name and make it my new bff or invent a new smoothie. I used some vanilla protein powder which I almost never use and it turned out as a treat! Tip: add a bit of almond milk in the beginning and add more almond milk if you want it to be more liquid (it's your party).
Ingredients: Whole fresh pineapple, almond milk, two scoops protein powder, 2 tblsp oats
Very Berry Smoothie
(serves 1)
This is a smoothie I make at least twice a week. It's so easy and the ingredients are always in my fridge/freezer. And with it, I love making a two egg white omelet with spinach either for breakfast or lunch!
Ingredients: Frozen forest fruits, fresh strawberries, almond milk, 1tblsp oats, 1tsp chia seeds
Looking for a smoothie that really fills you up? This is the perfect pre-workout smoothie with loads of energy and vitamins.
Ingredients: Orange juice from 2 oranges, 1/4 box frozen forest fruit, 2 scoops oatmeal, 1 scoop vanille whey and 2 tblsp chia seeds
I hope you enjoy these healthy breakfast smoothies and please, share your signature smoothie below. If we get enough we might make a book :)
