Makes 9-12 bars, prep time 10min (+ wait time)

Ingredients

- 3/4 cup of (sugar free) peanut butter

- 1/3 to 1/2 cup rice syrup (or agave syrup)

- 3/4 cup of coconut oil

- 2 cups of oats

-  1 cup  of grated coconut

- 1/2 cup of raisins

- 1 handful of walnuts

- 1/4 cup of raw cacao powder

- 1 vanilla pod stick

Method

Start by heating up some water in a pan, on top of that put a smaller pan in which you will start melting the peanut butter, rice syrup, chocolate and coconut oil in a bain marie. Once everything is nicely melted and blended, take the pan away from the fire and add the oats, shredded coconut, raisins and vanilla. Mix everything well and afterwards pour the batter into a baking form. Store it in the fridge until it becomes hard. At this point cut it into strips and voila! Choco-oat bars!

Tip: The bars keep well while stored in the freezer.
